Our out-grower section consist of earthen and liner ponds.
We have 42 Ponds that are rectangular in shape for easier management, feeding, and harvesting segregated as follows as per species growth:
Six nursery Ponds: For initial growth of fingerlings.
Five transition Ponds: For acclimatizing fingerlings before moving to larger grow-out ponds.
Thirty Production Ponds: For raising fish to market size and
One reservoir pond for our sport fishing.
The farm has an effective out grower section layout that is essential for optimizing our production efficiency and ensuring the health of the fish stock.
We have also considered pond configuration, water management systems, access paths, biosecurity measures, monitoring stations, and key pond features like depth, soil type, drainage systems, water sources, shade structures, and feeding infrastructure.
