As part of our ongoing partnership, Jumbo Fish Farm—working closely with  and the Norec team—has been actively engaging with various KMFRI stations. On 31 March–2 April 2026, we had the opportunity to visit the Kegati Aquaculture Centre for a highly impactful three-day technical engagement.

We began by reviewing previous engagements and identifying key technical challenges, setting the stage for targeted interventions. The team then carried out troubleshooting and repairs of critical aquaculture equipment, including water pumps and generators, restoring functionality and improving reliability.

A key highlight was the complete installation of concrete ponds piping networks, followed by systems testing to ensure all components were fully operational.

This engagement not only improved system performance but also strengthened local technical capacity—an essential step toward sustainable aquaculture and a thriving blue economy.

Building stronger systems, together.
